3i Cleared Tissue LightSheet
Thanks to the support of the Novo Nordisk Foundation to the implementation of BioDEEP, CFIM offers access to the 3i Cleared Tissue Light Sheet (CTLS) microscope, a light-sheet microscope for imaging medium to large or multiple cleared samples. CFIM provides access to various choices of sample chambers, sample holders, detection objectives, magnification and resolution settings, allowing for the customization of imaging setup to suit specific research needs. The 3i CTLS is suitable for imaging cleared samples such as whole organs from mice, mouse spinal cord, rat brain, and sections from larger animals at cellular or subcellular resolution.
For inquiries about using the 3i CTLS microscope or discussing potential applications, please contact Jana Harizanova [j.harizanova@sund.ku.dk] and Sunny Dai [keqing.sunny.dai@sund.ku.dk].
Specifications
Imaging
- Dual-side illumination.
- Compatible for imaging in media with refractive index ranging from 1.33 to 1.56.
- Multiple light-sheets generated digitally by spatial light modulator (SLM) for shadow reduction. High speed galvo scanning and light-sheet tiling options for homogenous resolution and illumination across the sample.
- Fast pre-scan function for locating the sample(s) and defining the imaging range.
Light Sources
LaserStack system with a selection of solid state diode lasers coupled to the microscope via fiber optic.
