Description of the Wet Cell Prep Lab

A GMO1 certified Wet Cell Prep Lab is available at CFIM for final experimental steps before imaging.

You need to be authorized to use the Wet Cell Prep Lab, so please contact staff members prior to use.

The laboratory is equipped with:

• Small fridge
• Small -20ºC freezer
• Safety cabinet - Thermo SAFE 2020
• Incubator with temperature and CO₂ control
• Bench top centrifuge with cooling and warming
• Vacuum System - for suction and disposal of liquids.
• Pipettes
• Water bath
• Vortex
• Magnetic stirrer
• Mini-centrifuge
