Confocal.NL demo

Dr. Erik Manders from the University of Amsterdam will present a lecture on super-resolution, followed by the introduction of the Re-scan confocal super-resolution technology and a hands-on session.

The re-scan confocal is a camera-based confocal that applies different speeds to the scanning and de-scanning processes inherent to laser scanning confocals in order to magnify image projection on the camera chip, therefore improving lateral resolution (down to 170 nm in XY) and increasing sensitivity, while keeping optical sectioning.
